SHORT Post – 3D Scan fisherman’s boy, Brandenburg

The “Fisherman’s Boy” is a copy of a statue by the Brandenburg sculptor Gustav Metz. It was erected in 1912 at the pond in Humboldthain by the Richard Spittas Foundation and has been in the courtyard of the Brandenburg City Museum since the 1970s.

I took the pictures for the 3D scan with my iPhone SE 2 and then processed them in Agisoft Metashape. It’s not a perfect scan but it’s definitely worth seeing for the very short amount of time it took.

The animation was created in Blender 3D Cycles.
