3D scans, 3D prints, reconstructions and animations from various museums, excavations and institutions.
Hoard find – 3D scan
Bavaria, hoard find, block salvage
The hoard of ingots recovered in several blocks comprised several hundred ingots deposited in bundles and was recorded in several 3D models to complement the photographic and drawing documentation.
The 3D models created during the excavation were used as distortion-free orthoimages by the workers as an orientation aid on the block and greatly facilitated the excavation work.

Road construction – 3D Scan
Brandenburg, road plana
Extensive redesigns of the road, at the Temnitz, in Brandenburg led to the uncovering of the early modern and medieval buildings as well as part of the old course of the road. The 3D models cover several hundred metres of the created street planes in 3 layers and document the course of the excavation in an extremely high level of detail.

Clay separator – 3D scan
Brandenburg, industrial plant
During the construction of a single-family house, an early modern clay separator was uncovered. This facility, which belonged to the former brickyard, was recorded directly during the excavation using photogrammetry and output as a high-resolution 3D model.
This is an excellent complement to the photographic and graphic documentation already carried out.

Medieval Well – 3D Scan
Schmerzke, excavated well
During the new construction of the volunteer fire brigade, a medieval well was found in addition to some cellar installations. This was 3D scanned to document the complete structure fully.

Foundation – 3D scan
Mahlenzien, foundation, brickwork, profiles
In the course of renovation work, the foundations of a stately medieval house were uncovered. In order to deepen the documentation, the uncovered complex wall sections were recorded on all sides as 3D models using photogrammetry and then exported in distortion-free orthoimages.

amber moose – reconstruction and animation
Hanover, Reconstruction, and Animation of the Amber Moose from Weitsche
Based on already existing microCT data of the still preserved fragments of the amber elk, the model was assembled and completed in cooperation with the Landesmuseum Hannover.
The resulting model reproduces the probable original shape of the animal figure and shows in an animation how the object changed over the millennia.
